Deleting your data
ArcMichael keeps your firm's data only while it serves you. You can have it deleted at any time:
A file you uploaded. Deleting a file in your account removes it from view immediately and starts a short recovery window (so an accidental deletion can be reversed), after which it is erased from our systems and the backups roll off.
A folder you connected. Revoking a folder's consent stops any further reading of it at once, and the revocation is recorded alongside the original consent.
Your whole account. The account holder can ask for erasure from inside the account, or by emailing hello@arcmichael.com from the account's address. We carry it out within thirty days and confirm by email. Records we must keep by law (invoices, the signed Terms of Service) are retained for the statutory period only.
Full details are in the Privacy Policy.
Ask for your data to be deleted
If a mortgage or protection firm that uses ArcMichael holds documents about you, you can ask here. ArcMichael is the processor; the firm that advised you is the controller, and we pass the request to them and make sure it is answered within thirty days. Your request is recorded with a reference number.
